Focused on expanding arts access for children and youth in northwest China, the centre offers top quality programmes, engaging students with professional artist and performances.
The centre runs a variety of programmes, including choirs, youth ensembles, ballet, and music courses, while supporting schools and communities in arts education. Its mission is to provide exceptional arts experiences, fostering artistic growth in young people. In 2022, it successfully launched the Xi’an Concert Hall Choir Festival to great acclaim.

“The Beat Lab” – Exploring Percussion Music:
- Percussion Workshop: A professional percussion instructor introduces basic percussion instruments and playing techniques.
- Mastering Rhythm Class: The instructor demonstrates different percussion instruments, with participants learning hands-on.
- Creative Rhythm Composition: Participants are divided into groups to create their own rhythm compositions under the guidance of the instructor.

- Vocal Basics: A seasoned vocal instructor teaches the fundamentals of vocal training, including breathing techniques, vocal projection, and musical expression.
- Vocal Warm-up Exercises: Participants engage in warm-up exercises focusing on relaxation and vocal stretching.
- Vocal Performance Coaching: The instructor guides participants on how to prepare for and deliver a small vocal performance.
- Vocal Performance Practice: Participants perform on stage, receiving immediate feedback and suggestions from the instructor.

“Musical Movement” – A First Experience in Conducting:
- Conducting Basics: A professional conductor explains the basic techniques of conducting and the importance of musical interpretation.
- Hands-on Conducting Practice: Participants learn to read musical scores and practice basic conducting under the instructor’s guidance.
- Conducting Practice with Ensemble: Participants take turns conducting small ensembles, collaborating with other participants.
- Advanced Conducting Techniques: The instructor provides detailed feedback on participants’ conducting, offering professional advice and tips for improvement.
